WELCOME to 7th grade reading, language arts! My name is Megan Sabin, and I am excited to be your teacher this year.

This will be my seventh year at Algona Middle School. I grew up and graduated right here at Algona High School, so it is a pleasure and joy to continue on the tradition of excellence in a great district. I have multiple degrees with my most recent being my Masters in Teacher Leadership and Curriculum Design from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake. I love spending time with my two children, husband, and reading in any spare time I find. 

 

I am passionate about helping each student grow as a reader and writer through deeper thinking and communication. In my classroom, I hold high expectations for my students and expect them to take responsibility for their learning.
